That's right. Commissions! Please read all of this (very long) post and read my latest journal to see if I'm taking on new commissions before you do anything.

All commissions will be sent (via email) as a large JPG, PNG, and/or PSD (layered) file (depending on your preference.)

Why will I not send you an original?
Considering I do most (if not all) my sketching, line art and coloring in Photoshop, it’d be a bit silly for me to print you out a copy and call it the “original.” Thus, all my commissions will be strictly digital. Sorry, but you probably have a better printer than me, anyway.

All prices are in USD.

Line Art
Clean and detailed black line art ready to color or do with what you will.
- Portrait (Shoulders & Up): $7 (+$4 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Torso (Hips & Up): $9 (+$5 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Full body (Feet & Up): $12 (+$7 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Chibi (Full Body): $8 (+$4 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)

Shaded Line Art
Clean line art with grayscale or single color shading. Will include simple flat color or gradient background as requested. (You will also receive copy of clean line art without shading.)
- Portrait (Shoulders & Up): $9 (+$5 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Torso (Hips & Up): $11 (+$6 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Full body (Feet & Up): $14 (+$8 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Chibi (Full Body): $10 (+$5 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)

Color
CGed image in either cel or soft shading. Will include simple flat color or gradient background as requested. (You will also receive copy of clean line art.)
- Portrait (Shoulders & Up): $12 (+$7 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Torso (Hips & Up): $14 (+$8 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Full body (Feet & Up): $17 (+$9 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)
- Chibi (Full Body): $13 (+$7 each additional character. Up to four in one image.)

What I will draw:

Fanart (Send me name of character and what it is from, plus brief description of desired pose/expression and outfit if different than what I’m likely to find if I google the character, or if non-canon.)

Original Characters (Requires a bit more work on your part: I want a description of their appearance and colorings, and also a brief explanation of their personality. If you have a pose, expression in mind, tell me that. Also link me to any pictures that exist of them already, if any.)

Avatars/Online Game Characters. I.E. Your character from Gaia, WoW, Guild Wars, Ragnarok, etc. (Description and screenshot needed, or at least an image of their clothing/armor as desired. Personality/attitude and desired pose also recommended.)

Romantic het/shounen-ai/shoujo-ai of any of the above. (Must pay for the additional character and explain what sort of pose you would like them in.)

Tasteful nudity of the above. (Non-sexual poses. Must list unique qualities – scars, tattoos, etc – that will need to be shown.)

What I will not draw:

A portrait of you. Sorry, but my greatest annoyance is getting comments like “LAWL you made me look stupid” or “I look fat” or “I don’t look like that.” It generally makes the process way more complicated and annoying (plus makes me very self-conscious). I don't like doing it!

Hentai. I refuse to draw it. Plain and simple. There are plenty of other artists who are willing to do so. Please search for them.

Payment:
Payment will be accepted through Paypal only, and discussed only with serious commission inquiries. Payment is required after drawing has been finalized and approved, and final commission will not be sent until payment is received.

Special Cases:
Need five characters in one piece? Want specific dimensions? Need something special for a background? Need your line art to be a special color, want something in a one-color shaded piece to be a different color, or need your art in a hurry?

Unless it requires a couple hours extra work on my part, I can do most things without fiddling with the price. (If you do want a background, though, expect to pay an extra dollar or two. I hate doing backgrounds.) Just let me know straight out.

Also, if you have a question about something I haven’t addressed here (I’m new at this, I can’t have covered everything my first try) just send me a note and ask. I’ll try not to be too anti-social.

Please send me a note through deviantArt with what you want, and details on your character as suggested above. If I approve your plan, I’ll likely send you my email for further contact. (Don’t hunt down my email and just start chatting with me if you haven’t sent me a note first, please.)

Disclaimer:
I do not claim to own any characters that I am commissioned to draw. I do, however, own the piece of art and have the right to post a watermarked copy on my website, deviant art and portfolio.

Once we have completed the transaction and you have your image, you can use it for whatever you will. However, my name must be associated with the image somewhere. For example: if you use it in a website layout, include my name in the credits with a link back. Even if you color it, the line art is mine and must be credited. Do not claim the work to be your own, even if you change (crop, edit, recolor, etc) something. That’s all I ask.

I have the right to refuse to accept a commission. Try not to be too offended. I also have the right to retain a finished commission until payment is received.

Commission prices may be changed at any time without much warning. If prices are changed while your commission is still in-progress, you will pay what was expected when you first started your commission.

This rule sheet may be changed at any time according to what strange things I encounter. Feel free to complain, but I likely won’t change things back.
